Since arriving on Discord in 2016, I have developed a real interest in online communities. It drew me towards web design, and eventually towards working for myself so that I could put those skills to use.
Starting Aide Jeune
In 2021 I began one of the bigger adventures of my life with Armand Diotel, setting up Aide Jeune. Built around helping one another, it has been a source of inspiration personally as much as professionally.
Over the past few years I have helped the Aide Jeune association grow. The experience taught me new things about running projects and managing volunteers, around twenty of them, keeping the whole thing working and helping hundreds of people every year.
Football referee, FFF
In 2021 I also took on the challenge of becoming a young football referee. It taught me how to handle pressure and how much communication matters when a situation gets complicated.
People forget sometimes that the referee is central to the match. Knowing the laws of the game is one thing. Applying them, and reacting in a split second and well, so that the match runs properly and the game keeps flowing, is quite another.

In 2022 I joined the moderation team at HugoDécrypte, helping keep the online community a healthy and positive place.
Discord administrator, ESTAC
In October 2023 I was asked to rebuild the Discord server of ESTAC, a football club that has held its own in both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. The work lets me put what I know about running communities and organising projects into practice.
