After a long break, CYRILmp4 wanted to reinvigorate her community, attract new members to her Discord server, and continue to develop her personal brand.

To achieve this, we imagined A big giveaway in partnership with Xbox:

• 🎮 1 Xbox Series X — pack Diablo
• 🕹️ 1 subscription Game Pass Of 3 months
• 💬 1 year subscription Discord Nitro
  

The event was carefully planned and promoted on multiple channels : Discord, social networks, and even a video ad.

One custom bot was developed to manage participations, including a question about the community, in order to encourage real interaction rather than a simple click to participate.

Process and key figures

The event took place on One week, of July 20 to 27, 2023, directly on CYRILmp4's Discord server.

The key steps:

• Active promotion : Discord ads, social posts, and video teasing.
• Community Involvement : lively discussions, active moderation and a friendly atmosphere.
• Customized tool : a module dedicated to participations + a thread to answer the question.
  

The results:

• 👥 2 376 participants
• 💬 Messages before the event: 6,500/during: 19,000
• ➡️ either three times more activity on the server!

Impact

The giveaway far exceeded expectations:

• One explosion of activity on the server.
• One tighter community, more involved and a real collective dynamic.
• One increased visibility for CYRILmp4's personal brand.

This campaign proved that a well-thought-out event can transform a community into a real driver of engagement.

A simple, participatory and tailor-made format, which already inspires other creators to take action.
